Fitness Woman Completes Two 1,000 lbs Challenges, then recovers in Magnesium Float at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa

By: WEBER WAY TO WELLNESS REPORTER

CLERMONT, FL June 12, 2026—Alicia Weber completed her first ever 1,000 lbs pulling challenge followed by 1,000 lbs pushing challenge in her 10 lbs weight vest. She felt a magnesium float would do wonders for her. In addition to these new challenges, she is training for a sprint cycling event where she did some intense lower body training and she does landscape work and she had a lot to recover from this week (a splinter that would not come out of her finger and a blister that was taking awhile to heal).

So she made an appointment for her first one-hour magnesium float at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, Florida. She heard so many positive comments from so many clients there that it was time she gives it a go. So here is her magnesium float experience followed by her newest challenges.

Watch Alicia experience her FIRST magnesium float above at Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, FL.

Alicia exclaims, “Now, I see why the float is one hour and I feel all the benefits that everybody is talking about! First off, the buoyancy is something I never experienced before. I was totally suspended in the 94-degree 800lbs of magnesium float pool. It took me 20 minutes to get used to this incredible buoyancy. I then really started to get into a zone of relaxation around 30 minutes where I was not sure if I would be able to get out (laughing) as it is truly a LaLa Land experience. I was able to do a variety of mobility movements and Pilates on my back and also on my stomach as I was totally suspended with the buoyancy. After my hour was up, all my muscle soreness totally melted away. My 6-day old splinter came out of my finger on it is own. Plus, my blister from landscape work was all better. I am so relaxed that I was able to fall asleep easily and get into a deep sleep state. I am definitely hooked on the magnesium floats and will incorporate more in the future. Adults and children can benefit from the magnesium floats at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, Fl.

Alicia began conditioning her body for weight vest workouts at the beginning of April 2026. The weight vest training is all new for her and she has been excited to condition her body for these new types of challenges and also compare her results to her bodyweight only results.

The following workout challenges are in descending order:

Above is Alicia’s 1,000 lbs Pushing Challenge in Under 5 Minutes (100 consecutive pushups @ +10 lbs extra). Alicia maintained a plank with both hands on the floor and set at shoulder-width grip apart for the entire duration where she finished in 4:31 for her first attempt.

Above is Alicia’s 1,000 lbs Pulling Challenge in Under 10 Minutes (100 pull-ups @ +10lbs extra). This was a challenge created at Strength Origins on Instagram. Alicia made this challenge extra difficult by completing it on a tree branch with approx. 8 inch circumference for a thick grip. She completed it in 8:45 for her first attempt.

Above is Alicia’s 10lbs weight vest workout to build strength and power. Then, once that part of workout ends, she goes into a running workout to build V02Max (not wearing weight vest for running). Power, Endurance, and V02Max Workout

Above is a Memorial Day Weekend Challenge of 3 x (20 pull-ups + 20 toes to bar) followed by a 5k cross country race (Alicia wins the race and it is her 224th career victory). Lastly, she does a 10lbs Weight Vest Finisher.

Above Alicia does a Bodyweight Only Pull-Up to Toes to Bar Ladder and then repeats the challenge in 10lbs weight vest. This is a Bodyweight Vs. Weight Vest Challenge.

Above Alicia does a 100 rep bodyweight only challenge with legs crossed pull-ups/chin-ups followed by repeating the challenge with a 10lbs weight vest. Compare her times from bodyweight only to weight vest,

Above is Alicia’s 10lbs weight vest 25 pull-ups – 50 decline pushup challenge where she tries to tie or break her bodyweight only record of 3 minutes for the 50 pull-ups and 100 pushups challenge. Can she do it? Find Out.

Above is Alicia’s slow and controlled Pull-Push Workout in a 10lbs Weight Vest.

Above is Alicia’s 2nd workout EVER in a 10lbs weight vest, but her first workout is not shown on youtube with it on. Since she is just starting out with a weight vest and wants to condition her body, she only does 5-10 minutes routines in it. She is focusing on just wearing it in “workout finishers”. As you watch her in these different workouts, you will see that she builds volume and reps over time. Her initial goal was to comfortably do 100 pull-up and 100 push-up workouts with her weight vest on. She has certainly reached that goal by June 2026. These weight vest workouts are featured in order from April – June 2026. Conditioning is the key to success with staying injury free and enhancing performance.

Woman breaks 3 World Records after a Cold Plunge at Salt and Sea Wellness Spa

By: WEBER WELLNESS REPORTER

Spring 2026, CLERMONT, FL—A change needed to take place for Alicia Weber to finally break some long-standing Recordsetter World Records in three different exercise events. On Friday, March 27, Alicia started her record setting preparation at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, Florida with a cold plunge.

A cold plunge is somewhat new for Alicia (at least at the lower temperature). As a former University of Florida Varsity Track/cross country runner, getting in a “cold tub” (as they called it) was mandatory right after hard, interval workouts. Back then, she knew it worked as she never got blisters after running fast on a hot track and then going in the cold tub. She bounced back quickly after hard workouts and was ready for the next interval session where she felt fresh and sharp from spending 8 minutes in the cold tub the prior day after training.

How long Do You think Alicia spent in the Cold Plunge in her first visit at Salt and Sea Wellness Spa? It is recommended to do 3 minutes. Do you think she made it to 3 minutes? WATCH AND FIND OUT...

Two of the 3 world records that Alicia is preparing to break involve the legs being able to extend to full flexibility in a straight leg hold and also not fatiguing and losing form in an intense aerobic bout. The muscles greatly involved in the two exercises are hip flexors, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf muscles. Alicia feels the cold plunge is absolutely what she needs for this part of the preparation.

The other part of Alicia’s preparation is for the upper body and arms to have full range of motion, flexibility, and mobility for a flexed hang record and archer chin-up record. The muscles need to be ready to fire at top speeds. A sports massage therapy session and stretching session are also part of the preparation. Alicia knows what massage and stretching can do as that is her secret to success for competing as an elite athlete for now 34 consecutive years with now 224 career victories, 452 competitions, and holding over 545 world records in exercise events. Alicia is so passionate about the benefits of massage therapy that she is also an LMT.

The Salt and Sea Wellness Spa is a one stop wellness retreat in a league of its own for all your wellness needs whether you are a serious athlete like Alicia, a weekend warrior, someone just trying to stay healthy and well – an adult or child alike can reap the many health benefits this spa offers. They have Massage Therapy, Facials, Stretching, Magnesium Float pools, Sauna, Salt Room, Cold Plunge, and a Wellness Shop.

Since Alicia is particularly being observant to her benefits after her cold plunge, we will focus on it. She was shocked once she got out of her cold plunge because she had an immediate appetite and it was only 4pm (and no workouts yet)!! She could feel her metabolism really super-charged and she already has a fast metabolism. She rushed out to eat dinner as she was too hungry to go home and make a meal. She felt her metabolism stay elevated for several days afterward.

After her preparations, Alicia said, “All the prep work is done and tomorrow (March 28) is GO Time where I will attempt to break 3 long-standing world records with the hardest one coming first. The cold plunge has removed all the muscle soreness out of my legs. I feel much greater circulation in my legs and I am feeling this increased circulation for hours after this cold plunge. I am also more relaxed. If someone is looking to speed their metabolism, I highly recommend a cold plunge. “

MARCH 28, 2026 RECORD RESULTS:

Alicia begins her day of March 28, 2026 with her record attempt to break the record she has held, since April 19, 2015 at 1:04.2 for the Longest Legs Extended Straight Hold on Men’s Gymnastics Rings. She can not keep track of all the times she attempted to re-set it, but she has always just tied this current best UNTIL TODAY…

Alicia’s second record attempt will be the next hardest exercise of the three to re-set. Alicia created the Most Archer Ring Chin-ups in One Minute at Recordsetter and she has been setting and re-setting the record until October 1, 2022 where she reached 15 reps and has not been able to improve UNTIL TODAY. This record requires a certain strict form and mobility and flexibility. It is much harder than a standard pull-up or chin-up on a bar or ring. She needs her muscles well-rested to get to the next level.

WATCH ALICIA BREAK THIS ARCHER RING CHIN-UP WORLD RECORD…

Alicia’s third and final attempt is considered possibly the easiest of the three records. This is the Flexed Hang Ring Mtn. Climbers for most in one minute. She brought this record category to Recordsetter on April 1, 2024, and has yet been able to break it. She spent a lot of time in 2025 trying to improve this record result, but to no avail, UNTIL TODAY. It is a highly aerobic strength record bout where her heart rate will get up like she is sprinting a 400 meter dash.
