The June PPK Fitness Challenge and Alicia Weber’s New World Record

By: WEBER WAY TO WELLNESS REPORTER

Alicia was super excited to participate in the June 2026 Global PPK Fitness Challenge. It turned into her 225th career victory. She became the woman’s world record holder on June 20, 2026 with her result of 131 reps (3rd highest score all time). We will go in depth about this new fitness competition, benefits of this fitness test, and the different ways to do it.

This is a 5 minute Fitness Test created by Kevin Cullum of 1 million pullups on instagram and founder of Anybody Can Do Anything.

You can compete in the 3 exercise events in any order. Each event is 1 minute in duration for most proper reps. Then, there is a minute rest break after the first and second events. The reps do NOT need to be consecutive in this global challenge. The three exercises include pull-ups, push-ups, and Korsquats. This is an aerobic strength and stamina fitness test that really covers working all the muscles groups (pulling muscles, pushing muscles, core, and the anterior and posterior chain). There is not a lot of difference in your results with the order of the exercises as Alicia proved to be consistent in her results. She scored 130 reps with the order being pull-ups, korsquats, and then pushups. Then, she scored 131 reps with the order being pushups, pull-ups, and korsquats.

Above You Can Watch Alicia do 2 Rounds of the PPK Challenge (130 reps for Round 1 and 131 reps for Round 2 – the New World Record!)

Here is an individual look at the 3 exercises for this Global PPK Challenge:

Korsquats – They can be performed using a Korboard, dumbbells held over feet, or a bar held over feet etc. Alicia used a bar held over her feet. They are basically a sit-up to stand and air-squat (3 movements in one repetition to really COVER muscles in the anterior and posterior chain as well as deep core muscles and muscles stabilizers).

Many people can add momentum by swinging their arms during the Korsquat movement to create more reps. However, Alicia chooses to not gain momentum with an arm swing and to keep her arms held out straight with her hands held together to maximize the benefits of this exercise and reduce the risk for injury.

Alicia’s friend, Josh Fisher, is an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist, and he feels the Korsquat when using momentum with arms swinging is awful from an ergonomic viewpoint.

Josh adds, “It is screaming for a back injury, if you do these reps at high speeds with swinging arms to create momentum.”

Alicia comments, “Doing the PPK Challenge introduced me to the Korsquat for the first time. When I first did it, I could really feel a nice burn in my hamstrings and quads. Doing 20 reps in a minute was hard at first, but now I can manage 23 reps in a minute. I feel better conditioned for the exercise now and using the stricter form without the arm swing can help me really build strength I feel in my low back, deep ab muscles, and hamstrings for sure. It is truly a total exercise for lower body and core.”

Push-Ups – The pushups for this event are considered the standard/proper form push-ups that are safe for beginners and still challenging for advanced exercisers. They go through the basic body mechanics and core engagement with safety as a priority. The body begins in a plank with straight body and flat back. Feet can be together or hip-width apart. You then lower your body till it is parallel to the floor (a few inches from the floor), arms at 90-degree angle (shoulder-width apart for arms), then bring arms back to full extension. *The arms held with elbows tilted close to body to avoid strain and issues around the elbow.

Pull-Ups – The pull-ups for this event are also considered standard/proper from pull-ups that are safe for beginners and still challenging for advanced exercisers. Pronated grip is only used, and arms are to be only shoulder-width apart. The shoulder-width pull-up offers a balanced workload among back and shoulder muscles and it maximizes the lat engagement and muscle stretch, while protecting the shoulder joints from awkward angles. There is no kipping allowed. The arms start in full extension, and your chin comes over the bar for a rep to count. Legs can hang straight down or be bent or curled back.

Now, we will look at some other ways to perform this same challenge…

Alicia’s Strict Form PPK Challenge with a June Score of 100 reps!

Above is Alicia’s strict form challenge for June. The same korsquat and pull-up from is used in this challenge with one exception: The pullups need to be consecutive for 1 minute.

*The pushup form for this challenge is Considered the Gold Standard form. It requires the full range of motion (just gently touching chest to ground) and maintaining a perfect straight plank from heel to head (flat back and feet together). The hands are placed shoulder-width apart and keep the elbows at a 45-degree angle to your torso to protect shoulder and fully extend arms at the top of push-up. The Gold Standard pushup is more advanced and stricter and prioritizes maximum muscle activation. It takes longer to do a rep of the Gold Standard pushup than a proper from pushup as it goes through the full range of motion with chest touching the ground lightly on each rep.

Alica does 139 reps for the PPK Challenge with wide grip pull-ups and wide grip pushups!

Lastly, Alicia does the challenge with wide – grip form, which she is not keen on for high volume training, but it can be beneficial because it isolates specific muscle groups. It is a more advanced way to do reps, since there is a risk for injury.

Wide Grip pull-up/push-up form limits the range of motion in the exercise and adds more strain to muscles and tendons. There is a shorter distance to do to complete a rep, so a rep will be done faster than a proper form or Gold Standard rep. Wide Grip means beyond shoulder-level.

Alicia says,” The Wide Grip is in its own category for exercise events. I personally do not like wide grip pushups, but it can be beneficial for hitting front delts and chest more. I do not recommend high volume for wide grip exercises. I do find slow wide grip pull-ups to be beneficial for stretching out my shoulders. They also build lats and help with V back development.”

In any event, there are 3 options to the PPK Challenge. You can compare your results across the 3 formats and activate and develop cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength and endurance. It is a total body workout in 5 minutes! You got to love that! Why not give it a try?

The Alternative Event would be the CPK for 5 minutes. Alicia did her first ever CPK on June 27, 2026. She did 129 reps.

Alicia does the CPK with 129 reps!

The shoulder-width grip chin-ups replace the shoulder-width grip pull-ups in this 5-minute challenge. Other than the chin-ups, all the rules are the same as the PPK Challenge.

Chin-ups – They use a supinated grip (palm toward you). A chin-up is an excellent exercise to gain superior bicep enlargement. Other major muscles are involved as well including lats, teres major, rear delts, and pec muscles. There is also deep abdominal and lower back involvement to help keep the body stable for faster reps and to prevent swinging.

Fitness Woman Completes Two 1,000 lbs Challenges, then recovers in Magnesium Float at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa

By: WEBER WAY TO WELLNESS REPORTER

CLERMONT, FL June 12, 2026—Alicia Weber completed her first ever 1,000 lbs pulling challenge followed by 1,000 lbs pushing challenge in her 10 lbs weight vest. She felt a magnesium float would do wonders for her. In addition to these new challenges, she is training for a sprint cycling event where she did some intense lower body training and she does landscape work and she had a lot to recover from this week (a splinter that would not come out of her finger and a blister that was taking awhile to heal).

So she made an appointment for her first one-hour magnesium float at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, Florida. She heard so many positive comments from so many clients there that it was time she gives it a go. So here is her magnesium float experience followed by her newest challenges.

Watch Alicia experience her FIRST magnesium float above at Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, FL.

Alicia exclaims, “Now, I see why the float is one hour and I feel all the benefits that everybody is talking about! First off, the buoyancy is something I never experienced before. I was totally suspended in the 94-degree 800lbs of magnesium float pool. It took me 20 minutes to get used to this incredible buoyancy. I then really started to get into a zone of relaxation around 30 minutes where I was not sure if I would be able to get out (laughing) as it is truly a LaLa Land experience. I was able to do a variety of mobility movements and Pilates on my back and also on my stomach as I was totally suspended with the buoyancy. After my hour was up, all my muscle soreness totally melted away. My 6-day old splinter came out of my finger on it is own. Plus, my blister from landscape work was all better. I am so relaxed that I was able to fall asleep easily and get into a deep sleep state. I am definitely hooked on the magnesium floats and will incorporate more in the future. Adults and children can benefit from the magnesium floats at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, Fl.

Alicia began conditioning her body for weight vest workouts at the beginning of April 2026. The weight vest training is all new for her and she has been excited to condition her body for these new types of challenges and also compare her results to her bodyweight only results.

The following workout challenges are in descending order:

Above is Alicia’s 1,000 lbs Pushing Challenge in Under 5 Minutes (100 consecutive pushups @ +10 lbs extra). Alicia maintained a plank with both hands on the floor and set at shoulder-width grip apart for the entire duration where she finished in 4:31 for her first attempt.

Above is Alicia’s 1,000 lbs Pulling Challenge in Under 10 Minutes (100 pull-ups @ +10lbs extra). This was a challenge created at Strength Origins on Instagram. Alicia made this challenge extra difficult by completing it on a tree branch with approx. 8 inch circumference for a thick grip. She completed it in 8:45 for her first attempt.

Above is Alicia’s 10lbs weight vest workout to build strength and power. Then, once that part of workout ends, she goes into a running workout to build V02Max (not wearing weight vest for running). Power, Endurance, and V02Max Workout

Above is a Memorial Day Weekend Challenge of 3 x (20 pull-ups + 20 toes to bar) followed by a 5k cross country race (Alicia wins the race and it is her 224th career victory). Lastly, she does a 10lbs Weight Vest Finisher.

Above Alicia does a Bodyweight Only Pull-Up to Toes to Bar Ladder and then repeats the challenge in 10lbs weight vest. This is a Bodyweight Vs. Weight Vest Challenge.

Above Alicia does a 100 rep bodyweight only challenge with legs crossed pull-ups/chin-ups followed by repeating the challenge with a 10lbs weight vest. Compare her times from bodyweight only to weight vest,

Above is Alicia’s 10lbs weight vest 25 pull-ups – 50 decline pushup challenge where she tries to tie or break her bodyweight only record of 3 minutes for the 50 pull-ups and 100 pushups challenge. Can she do it? Find Out.

Above is Alicia’s slow and controlled Pull-Push Workout in a 10lbs Weight Vest.

Above is Alicia’s 2nd workout EVER in a 10lbs weight vest, but her first workout is not shown on youtube with it on. Since she is just starting out with a weight vest and wants to condition her body, she only does 5-10 minutes routines in it. She is focusing on just wearing it in “workout finishers”. As you watch her in these different workouts, you will see that she builds volume and reps over time. Her initial goal was to comfortably do 100 pull-up and 100 push-up workouts with her weight vest on. She has certainly reached that goal by June 2026. These weight vest workouts are featured in order from April – June 2026. Conditioning is the key to success with staying injury free and enhancing performance.

You can contact Alicia for a training plan and guidance to goals at Awinningway@gmail.com

You can also enhance your performance by making a Spa Day at Salt and Sea Wellness Spa and do massage therapy, magnesium float, cold plunge, sauna, and Salt Room and more!

Woman breaks 3 World Records after a Cold Plunge at Salt and Sea Wellness Spa

By: WEBER WELLNESS REPORTER

Spring 2026, CLERMONT, FL—A change needed to take place for Alicia Weber to finally break some long-standing Recordsetter World Records in three different exercise events. On Friday, March 27, Alicia started her record setting preparation at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, Florida with a cold plunge.

A cold plunge is somewhat new for Alicia (at least at the lower temperature). As a former University of Florida Varsity Track/cross country runner, getting in a “cold tub” (as they called it) was mandatory right after hard, interval workouts. Back then, she knew it worked as she never got blisters after running fast on a hot track and then going in the cold tub. She bounced back quickly after hard workouts and was ready for the next interval session where she felt fresh and sharp from spending 8 minutes in the cold tub the prior day after training.

How long Do You think Alicia spent in the Cold Plunge in her first visit at Salt and Sea Wellness Spa? It is recommended to do 3 minutes. Do you think she made it to 3 minutes? WATCH AND FIND OUT...

Two of the 3 world records that Alicia is preparing to break involve the legs being able to extend to full flexibility in a straight leg hold and also not fatiguing and losing form in an intense aerobic bout. The muscles greatly involved in the two exercises are hip flexors, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf muscles. Alicia feels the cold plunge is absolutely what she needs for this part of the preparation.

The other part of Alicia’s preparation is for the upper body and arms to have full range of motion, flexibility, and mobility for a flexed hang record and archer chin-up record. The muscles need to be ready to fire at top speeds. A sports massage therapy session and stretching session are also part of the preparation. Alicia knows what massage and stretching can do as that is her secret to success for competing as an elite athlete for now 34 consecutive years with now 224 career victories, 452 competitions, and holding over 545 world records in exercise events. Alicia is so passionate about the benefits of massage therapy that she is also an LMT.

The Salt and Sea Wellness Spa is a one stop wellness retreat in a league of its own for all your wellness needs whether you are a serious athlete like Alicia, a weekend warrior, someone just trying to stay healthy and well – an adult or child alike can reap the many health benefits this spa offers. They have Massage Therapy, Facials, Stretching, Magnesium Float pools, Sauna, Salt Room, Cold Plunge, and a Wellness Shop.

Alicia answers common questions about the different types of massages. WATCH BELOW TO LEARN.

Since Alicia is particularly being observant to her benefits after her cold plunge, we will focus on it. She was shocked once she got out of her cold plunge because she had an immediate appetite and it was only 4pm (and no workouts yet)!! She could feel her metabolism really super-charged and she already has a fast metabolism. She rushed out to eat dinner as she was too hungry to go home and make a meal. She felt her metabolism stay elevated for several days afterward.

After her preparations, Alicia said, “All the prep work is done and tomorrow (March 28) is GO Time where I will attempt to break 3 long-standing world records with the hardest one coming first. The cold plunge has removed all the muscle soreness out of my legs. I feel much greater circulation in my legs and I am feeling this increased circulation for hours after this cold plunge. I am also more relaxed. If someone is looking to speed their metabolism, I highly recommend a cold plunge. “

MARCH 28, 2026 RECORD RESULTS:

Alicia begins her day of March 28, 2026 with her record attempt to break the record she has held, since April 19, 2015 at 1:04.2 for the Longest Legs Extended Straight Hold on Men’s Gymnastics Rings. She can not keep track of all the times she attempted to re-set it, but she has always just tied this current best UNTIL TODAY…

WATCH ALICIA DESTROYS THIS ALMOST 11 YEAR OLD RECORDSETTER WORLD RECORD…

Alicia’s second record attempt will be the next hardest exercise of the three to re-set. Alicia created the Most Archer Ring Chin-ups in One Minute at Recordsetter and she has been setting and re-setting the record until October 1, 2022 where she reached 15 reps and has not been able to improve UNTIL TODAY. This record requires a certain strict form and mobility and flexibility. It is much harder than a standard pull-up or chin-up on a bar or ring. She needs her muscles well-rested to get to the next level.

WATCH ALICIA BREAK THIS ARCHER RING CHIN-UP WORLD RECORD…

Alicia’s third and final attempt is considered possibly the easiest of the three records. This is the Flexed Hang Ring Mtn. Climbers for most in one minute. She brought this record category to Recordsetter on April 1, 2024, and has yet been able to break it. She spent a lot of time in 2025 trying to improve this record result, but to no avail, UNTIL TODAY. It is a highly aerobic strength record bout where her heart rate will get up like she is sprinting a 400 meter dash.

WATCH ALICIA DEMOLISH THIS THIRD RECORD – SPEED STRENGTH RECORD!

WOW, Alicia is super ecstatic over her big record day and all the successful preparation. You can schedule your day full of fun and beneficial wellness services here at the Salt and Sea Wellness Spa in Clermont, Fl.

HERE IS SHORT CLIP OF ALCIA RECAPPING HER RECORD DAY AND RESULTS!

Three more records in the books. Alicia has broken 10 exercise world records so far in 2026. Stay Tuned for more action. Thank you for visiting and learning about wellness.

The “Versatility Contest” combines the 100 meter and mile events held back- to -back on soft cross country surface where athletes try to run their fastest times in both events. They are then scored by their finishing place. The lowest placing score wins “MOST VERSATILE”…Complete Results are at this link. The “Most Versatile” runner won both the 100 meter in 12.9 seconds and 1 mile in 6:47 – 13 year old Etienne!! The great news is that ALL runners ran personal bests in the 100 meter and the mile events. Some improved their mile times by 2 minutes!! It was a “runderful” and fun event for everyone!

FINALLY, we will talk about Florida wildlife. Alicia and her family have spring birthdays and they have a ritual of finding their birthday animals! They enjoy hiking and visiting animals either in the wild OR in zoos. They had 4 amazing experiences this spring.

https://youtu.be/U-Iw2Xs8rxk
Alicia’s mother’s birthday animal came in numbers – 3 ALLIGATORS!! She had a snappy birthday in Mt. Dora, Florida. She thought she was going to take a relaxing stroll and visit shops and eateries in Mt. Dora, but she ended up having a birthday of a lifetime with 3 alligators that joined in the celebration!!
https://youtu.be/MHNk6IKxouo
Alicia’s father was specifically on a mission to find a gopher tortoise for his birthday. Alicia steered him to Showcase of Citrus in Clermont, Florida, and there he found a gopher tortoise (and A LOT more animals at the new and improved Showcase of Citrus).
https://youtu.be/FoIqcK0jgtw
Alicia was searching for several birthday animals. She was definitely wanting to see a Florida Manatee, which has no known enemies! She got really lucky on St. Patty’s Day and found 25 birthday manatees at the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge! This is the place to see A LOT of manatees and it is only by foot. She also got to see her first mating manatee herd!
https://youtu.be/o0tX8PLr0Eo
The search for “birthday animals” continued at Disney Animal Kingdom. This is the first time Alicia has been to Disney Animal Kingdom, since 2009. There are now a lot more animals and there is Asia and Africa that she could visit there! The family had a blast taking in hundreds of animals on their walk through Disney. Highlights are in video above. Alicia is known to cause monkeys to moon her. This seems to happen at all the zoos with monkeys and once again it happened at Animal Kingdom!

World Record Weber Devours 3 Record Challenges for Combined 16 Times in Fall 2022

By: Weber Way to Wellness Reporter

LAKE COUNTY FL 11/29/22—-World Record Weber completes her 99 day “Triple Progression Challenge” beginning on August 23, 2022 and ending November 29, 2022 – setting personal bests 16 times over the course of repeatedly improving on the same 3 challenges. The results and progress of each challenge is below along with videos and details on each of the three challenges.

copyright Ⓒ ALICIA WEBER 2022

Challenge 1: 50 pull-ups + 100 push-ups This is a popular youtube challenge and a long-time fan wanted World Record Weber (WRW) to take on this challenge (where the best guy performed it in 3:26). In each challenge, WRW uses strict form and does 100 consecutive pushups, but that is not required in the youtube challenge (rest breaks allowed). This challenge is the shortest of the three challenges. She saw the most improvement in the shortest amount of time with this challenge.

50 Pull-ups and 100 pushup progession videos starting at 4:23.7 and ending at 2:51.9 (from 10/18/22 – 11/28)

In 42 days (1 month, 11 days) WRW improved by 34.82 percent in this short challenge. Here is the rundown:
10/18/22 performed after a running interval workout in the initial time of 4:23.7

It involves mind and body training as a certain form and order has to be followed correctly – 0r else she has to redo reps.

Challenge 3: 270 REPS + ? IN 10 MINS – A total core aerobic ab workout that WRW created in August to challenge her core in an aerobic environment. This final challenge involves all core in an aerobic fashion – ALL OUT 10 minute workout for most reps. WRW put a variety of interesting exercises in a series to a get a total body core workout. The goal is to do 270 reps and still have time left over in the 10 minute time frame to do extra reps of a final ab exercise to finish out the 10 minutes. Above is video of WRW’s best 10 minute AB result with 440 reps!! This was her fifth and final attempt to improve in the longest time frame of improvement of the three challenges (99 days).

In 99 days (3 months and 7 days) WRW improved her 10 minute ab challenge by 38.64 percent. It was the greatest improvement of the three challenges, but she was given the most time to improve as well.
Here are progressions and results:
8/23/22 performed only 270 reps in 10 minutes. She did the 270 reps in 9:43, but did not push herself to do twisties till 10 minutes.
8/24/22 performed a total of 324 reps (270 reps + 54 10lbs med ball ab twisties).
9/2/22 performed a total 374 reps (270 reps + 104 10lbs med ball ab twisties).

CENTRAL FLORIDA (oct 19-20, 2018)—-The weekend “warmup” was Friday evening with armwrestling and Halloween-themed fitness challenges. The highlight was 4 boys armwrestling World Record Weber in an effort to push both of her arms down. It was super-charged sets of training with long lengths of time and effort to attempt to push the world record holder down and then a fitness challenge to work on other muscle groups. The boys ended the evening feeling like confident ghostbusters. They were prepared to take on the Saturday Scarecrows and other Haunts.

“I loved the armwrestling. The whole event with the archery and shuffleboard was really fun and challenging and it was way better than my expectations,” stated Matteo, The League Hall of Famer and winningest athlete in the League. Matteo won the archery and shuffleboard events.

It was a very challenging, exciting, and surprising Pumpkin Shoot with 4 stations. It started with a sound effect relay event. Then, a 3-way pumpkin Aim Challenge event, Scarecrow challenge, and Escape the Cobweb challenge. It came down to the “Bonus Round” to claim the winner. All nine archers were just a few points from one another. Each archer picked their best station to garner the final points to become a breakaway winner. Matteo won with 16 points. A new archery student, Ashley, (who just learned archery this week) tied for second place with Raven (the only female to win 2 consecutive championships). They both scored 15 points. Matteo won the scarecrow as other top archers took home pumpkins.

The boys requested to play shuffleboard. The boys and their families stampeded over to Clermont Shuffleboard to continue the excitement. The girls have requested basketball and their special event is coming soon.

“I always love how Alicia challenges the kids with fitness and other activities. The shuffleboard is a new activity. I love the idea that we have all ages of people playing shuffleboard together. We have the kids, adults, and seniors competing together and you rarely see all the generations together in sports. I love this event,” said Matteo’s mom.

Everyone had a good time learning and laughing in the new, fun sport of shuffleboard. The Clermont Shuffleboard Champions guided everyone. There were 4 teams of two people. Matteo and his teammate won as they reached 75 points first (the goal in shuffleboard). It took only an hour for them to claim the victory.

First Wellness-themed Team Race in Clermont, Florida Big Success

By The Weber Way to Wellness Reporter

Alicia Weber, Honorary Chairperson for Inaugural Clermont MADD 5k and Mile Walk/Run event

CLERMONT, FL—On Sept 15, 2018, Alicia Weber, was the Honorary Chairperson for the first Wellness-themed “Team” race in Clermont (known as a world-class race destination). She had approx 30 athletes attend and become “Trendsetters for Wellness” where her mom volunteered.

The goal of the 1 mile and 5k races was to create an awareness and culture for fitness and wellness. It starts with caring.

Alicia’s mom, Carol Weber, lost her brother to drunk driver and she lost her mother when she was seventeen. These negative situations gave her the greatest motivation of her life as she pursued a 30 year career in the medical field. She was the stronghold for her family with her inner-strength to overcome obstacles. She instilled in Alicia at an early age the motivation to set high standards for herself and others.

Alicia teaches people to become determined and relentless to achieve results as no one can argue with results. Make a Positive Difference.

The first wellness race brought over 140 competitors. Alicia had 36 individuals complete a fitness makeover and race challenge (although about 10 only did the fitness makeover part). The fitness makeover consisted of a pre-race waist line health check, two minute knee tuck test, and two minute shoulder width grip pushup test. There were modified and advanced ways to do the exercises, but only the advanced ways were allowed for Overall Titles (except for Adult Female Title). The max score was 400 points.

Three teams (12 on each team competed for most points). Additionally, there were 4 individuals recognized for Top Points.

Alicia’s Team of kids and their parents representing her Archery, Fitness, Sport League placed First with 2,686 points. Dylan with 340 points and Jane with 242 points won the Overall Youth Titles with most points in the advanced exercises.

Praise Temple Christian Academy Team Placed Second with 2,424 points.

Michael Spartz a Financial Advisor Won Overall Adult Male with 257 points and Claire Vaccaro of Advocare Won Overall Adult Female with 193 points.

“It’s really good to exercise your whole body, while having fun. People are good at different exercises, so this gives them the opportunity to stand up for Health and Wellness, while showing how healthy they are,” said the young Joe Arnold, the 1st person to be tested in the fitness makeover.

“It’s a great idea because it gives people goals in a team atmosphere. It’s goal setting and achieving something,” stated Michael Spartz, a Top Orlando financial advisor.

“It’s a very well put together and organized event,” said Ron Smart of the 3 A’s, an experienced event organizer and founder of AdComm and an Advocare Rep.
