By: WEBER WAY TO WELLNESS REPORTER

CENTRAL FLORIDA—FALL 2023 Alicia Weber brings in her 10th Anniversary of her Archery Fitness League this year as tremendous records are set and new opportunities are on the horizon. She held a Garden Warrior Obstacle Archery Contest at Acres of Grace Farm on October 6th where 20 youth competitors tried their best to go as fast they could go and shoot one arrow for accuracy. Kids as young as 4 and upto 15 took part in the challenge. Future events will be available at Acres of Grace Farm for Alicia’s archery and running and conditioning programs. Alicia has been working with ages 6 to 14 in running and conditioning. In the past 2 years, all of her students achieved increased speed and endurance in just 4 HOURS of training (1 hour a week for 4 weeks). Their improvement rate has been 2-16 percent in just 4 hours. Contact Alicia at Awinningway@gmail.com to get in a program. You can also follow her on instagram.

Above Alicia performs her FIRST-EVER 7 Consecutive Day Challenge of the SAME Challenge. She pushes herself to keep improving each day with the 250 rep strict form routine with the goal of 4 minutes or faster.. She even surprised herself at her rate of improvement. She began on Day 1 with a time of 3:48.3. She ended in 3:25.2 on Day 7! This was performed August 7-13, 2023. The 7 day playlist is above – it starts with Day 1 and ends with Day 7.

Alicia started progressing on another Youtube viral challenge this year known as the 100 Mike Tyson Push-Up Challenge. Her playlist is above for this challenge. Some of the progressions are at Rumble. She made 5 attempts in 123 days from March 31, 2023 to July 31, 2023 and she went from taking 4:24 for the consecutive bout down to 3:14!! She dropped 1 minute and 10 seconds and improved by 27 percent in 123 days!!

Alicia has been working as a wellness and fitness professional for over 25 years! She has been known to be time-efficient and get clients massive results (just like she does for herself)!

Alicia launched her FIRST-EVER Podcast on her youtube channel at WeberWay2Wellness where she teaches people how to get in tune with their bodies for athletic and health success. She also reveals some of her inspirations and their great successes from learning how to get in tune with their bodies.

Alicia’s First Podcast came in 2023.

2023 has been a big year for Alicia – she has achieved now 202 career victories in sports and she has competed in 17 world championships! She did her best performance thus far at the SkiErg World Championship for 1k Sprints. She placed in the Top 17% of women in the world and in her fastest time of 4:19.3. 2023 marks her 5th consecutive year to compete in these world championships and it brought the most competition so far (751 female competitors).

Alicia began washing her hair ONLY with shampoo Ginger this year. In celebration for her new-found favorite natural shampoo that she grows – she broke a record and shows off her hair after a shampoo ginger hair wash.

Alicia was soooo excited to break this tough 3 medicine ball one minute push-up record! She has now taken the record to 71 reps in one minute!

The Weekend of October 21-22 was a Special One!! Alicia achieved her 202nd Career Victory (placing first among females in a 5k cross country race) AND breaking a record she has really been focusing on. She did 43 consecutive reps for the Feet on Wall Consecutive Push-Up Record.

ATTN: STRENGTH FEAT FANS…. Alicia made one of her most exciting, unpredictable productions thus far. It is a Halloween Thriller where Aussie Amanda gets a great chase and challenge in exercises and armwrestling by a much younger guy! The Exclusive Show is found at Videoteasing.com/amanda.htm

Here is a preview of the NEW Exclusive Show with Aussie Amanda.

Alicia’s most “on the edge” or adrenaline pumping record of 2023 came on 10/27/23. She was going for 15 minutes of consecutive shoulder-width grip pushups and had to be over 484 reps to break the record. She was able to muster out 493 reps to re-set it as she stayed strong and on target the last minute to just make it over the record!

Alicia is here breaking the 15 minutes of consecutive shoulder-width grip pushups here on 10/27/23.

Alicia loves her improv character comedy and Halloween!! She made her most dramatic Halloween improv comedy show thus far! She collected comedy material in 3 different cities in Central Florida and more in Calabassas, CA. This production is an improv comedy with no scripts.

She ended up reaching 55 world records so far for this year!! The full details are in the video description above.

Alicia was really excited to “earn her turkey” by doing one of her hardest and most arduous challenges of 2023. She then ate her turkey after completing the challenge. She made a Thanksgiving/Post Thanksgiving Aerobic Strength Series. See the video playlist above with 3 videos. These are ALL NEW challenges. The longest one was on Thanksgiving Thursday and the other two took place on the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving. They all involve Suicide Runs and Ring Chin-ups and/or Ring Dips.

Thank you fans for being a Big FAN! We wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season from Alicia and her Clan of characters!

10 Ways to Boost Your Body to Defeat Covid 19

BY: Weber Way to Wellness Reporter

Alert-Alert Get your army of white blood cells, antibodies, and lymph vessels ready to kill the greatest enemy of 2020 – Covid 19. Oh no, what if the lymphocytes are too low (B cells, T-cells, and Natural Killer cells and other immune cells)?? No Problem…BUILD your body and boost it NOW by doing the following things EVERYDAY to get your immune system in peak performance for a sneak attack!! It will come down to your immune system for your greatest chance of survival.

1.) VITAMIN C is needed daily with at least 75-90 milligrams a day. However, most studies show 500-2,000 milligrams a day are needed to achieve great results. Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables each day (focus on different colors red, green, yellow, orange to get phytonutrients to protect against free radicals).

Vitamin C boosts immune cells that can engulf harmful bacteria and particles. Studies have shown it can reduce lung inflammation in severe respiratory illnesses. High dose of IV Vitamin C have been administered for Covid 19 patients to improve lung function.

2.) DRINK WARM LEMON JUICE everyday. Squeeze one fresh organic lemon into a mug and add some warm water. Sniff the steam for one minute and then slowly drink the warm lemon drink with a straw to limit erosion of teeth enamel from citric acid. The warm lemon enzymes are more effective at killing and preventing the virus. This drink rehydrates and sweeps the virus away through the warmth as the virus neutralizes in warm liquids. James Lind “Father of Naval Medicine” discovered a cure for scurvy in 1747 – a lemon and 2 oranges a day were found to cure sailors of scurvy.

3.) EAT A KIWI FRUIT a day. The shocking news is that the little brown, fuzzy fruit contains two to three TIMES more Vitamin C than an orange!! As a prolific strength and endurance record setter, the kiwi fruit has been a source to my relentless vitality. I eat kiwi fruit to fight tiredness and fatigue and keep consistent energy. I have been eating the fuzzy kiwi, since a kid when I referred to it as a “baby gorilla egg.” You can also eat a kiwi faster than eating an orange, which makes it a quick pick-me-up.

4.) THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE is MEDICINE. Start with deep breathing in your nose for 10 seconds and then exhale out your mouth for 10 seconds and repeat 3 times in row to start your day and clear the airways . You want to successfully complete without coughing or discomfort. This prevents/shows no infection. Therapeutic exercise with Alicia Weber prevents injuries/health issues or can repair health problems by engaging mind and body with multiple muscles groups working in a slow-controlled manner to stretch and strengthen. Below are examples of therapeutic exercise.

5.) GET A minimum 7 – 8 Hours of SLEEP each Night. Getting proper, regular deep sleep repairs your body and strengthens your immune system in conjunction with eating a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, wild fish, grass fed beef, and eggs.

6.) REDUCE STRESS by taking up new activities in times of “stay-at-home and social distancing” orders. Studies at the Harvard Business School found that engaging in learning new things reduced stress more than relaxing and taking a break! Why not learn new things and make $$$!!?? Contact Alicia to learn about an exciting online job opportunity at Awinningway@gmail.com

7.) DO WEEKLY GROUNDING aka “Earthing.” I do this at least once weekly. Take 20 minutes in the sunlight for your daily dose of Vitamin D (immune system booster), while going barefoot in the grass. Spend time walking barefoot, standing barefoot, and doing exercises barefoot to not only strengthen 100 muscles in your feet, but to reduce inflammation and set the body in tune with earth’s natural electromagnetic frequency. Grounding counteracts the negative effects of man-made EMF from wireless devices and greatly strengthens the immune system.

8.) EAT A HEALTHY SNACK OF CASHEWS. A handful of cashews are full of zinc that can fight infections and heal wounds. Zinc is known to reduce the duration of a cold. Cashews are a good source of iron and copper as well, which increase red blood cells and give the body more energy (copper helps increase bone density and prevent fractures). Cashews contain proanthocyanidins, which are compounds that suppress cancer cell replication. The magnesium and potassium help with muscle contractions. Cashews are known to relieve migraines. I eat a handful several times a week.

9.) HEAL YOUR BODY WITH SOUND and BOOST IMMUNITY. Healing with sound dates back to ancient Greece when musical sounds attempted to cure mental disorders. It is believed that higher vibrating frequencies of sound repair damaged tissue within cells, while diseases, sickness, and depression vibrate at lower sound frequencies. Advocates of sound therapy claim they have been healed of mental illness, arthritis, cancer, and other diseases.

Above is a proven healing sound track that is known to attract delta sleep waves and boost the immune system.

10.) DO NOT USE IBUPROFEN (aka Advil, Motrin, or Nurofen)!! Studies at Lancet Medical Journal and studies on covid 19 patients are showing that ibuprofen speeds the spread of the virus and inflames the lungs. Instead of playing with fire, we can get rid of headaches and body aches a natural way…get extra sleep (stop and take a nap), eat every 3-4 hours, and drink plenty of water (especially alkaline water, which has an increased pH and removes toxins out of body better). I drink alkaline water to remove excess toxins after intense workouts and to rid headaches. If these methods are still not working, you can use acupressure points to remove a headache (a video demo is here).

Tackle these 10 Steps and you are on your way to a healthier, happier tomorrow!!

Alicia began 2020 by re-setting a Recordsetter world record she held for 3 years, but she made it even tougher… It is the consecutive staircase pull-up record with 15 steps per rep. She first set record on 1/20/2017 with 10 reps… Now, see the new benchmark.

2019 RECAP: The Red Rubies won their 6th Team Title in the Archery Fitness League out of 10 Championships. For the first time, a Groveland boy (From Growling Tigers Team) won the individual Championship title and led his team to their best team finish of second place out of 5 teams. Returning multi-champion, Raven, of Team Anime utilized Qigong to take a big lead and win after holding a 3-way tie with two other girls. The anticipation for the Spring 2020 Self Defense Archery season is very high after everyone aced the self defense and greatly improved their archery in the fall.

Alicia “World Record” Weber excelled in her sports. She added her 18th individual sport in 2019 and competed in her 8th World Championship in the 2019 World SkiErg Sprints (1,000 meter). She only trained for 6 weeks and had weekly massage to help recover and perform her best in minimal amount of time to learn a new skill. She met her time goal for her first ever 1k race and placed 167th in the world out of 748 women!!

Alicia weighing in at only 112 pounds competed in the skiErg where extra weight adding momentum can be a competitive advantage. Alicia focused on using proper form engaging her core and triceps properly and came through the 1,000 meters in 4:25.9 to place 167th out of 748 women in the world.

Alicia moved on to setting more challenging records this year. She was not setting records at the pace she was previously accustomed to (one record every 42 hours). LOL She slowed down her pace to focus on developing more challenging workout record categories termed “World Record Weber Record Breaking Workouts”… In these workouts she may need to break a current record and then add more new records within the workout. Her goal was to set one a month. She ended year with 14 new record breaking workout records. You can follow these workouts at the link below.

Members of Alicia’s Archery Fitness League can partake in many special opportunities throughout the year such as developing Improv Comedy, competing in different sports outside archery, working on their Art skills, attending group sporting events, and learning many other skill sets. Archery Fitness History is Made in the Eighth Championship

Top Archer Athletes from the 2018 Self Defense Archery Fall Series Championship

Is it possible to have six teams competing over the course of several months and have a dead heat tie between two teams? Is it possible for a youth boy to perform a Robin Hood Feat in a Series Championship? Is it possible for a girl to come out of nowhere and win against veteran female archers plus have the third highest score among all competitors?

ABSOLUTELY, anything is possible in Alicia Weber’s Archery, Fitness, Sport League where students are trained to be positive thinkers too!

It all came down to the third and final event (the toughest event with 4 squares to hit clockwise followed by a hard to hit small bullseye worth 20 points). Coed Team Anime nailed it with a full 33 point lead on the second place Team Red Rubies. Their TOP Archer, Nathan, had a near perfect score in the archery with 60x points out of a possible 70 points.

Nathan easily secured first place overall with 163x points, but the All boys team known as Red Rubies were not ready to say “goodbye” to their chance at winning a fifth Team title. They pulled together in great camaraderie, grit, and determination and shot each arrow like it was their last chance to shoot. They worked so hard and garnered so many points that they were able to tie with Team Anime for a final score of 656x points. Their team was led by a bow hunter turned phenom archer, Amber, who scored 137 points. She was the first place girl and she had the third best score out of everyone. Team Couriers placed third with 571 points. Their team was led by Brandon who placed third for boys with 137 points.

The Junior Rubies consisted of the Leagues youngest competitor (a six year old girl). There is also a 7 year old. Some of these motivated competitors also take a Leadership course. They work on multiple skills, while they also compete in this championship. They finished 4th place with 522 points.

In fifth place was a new team known as Fit N Fighting Fortiter with a determined 7 year old girl and other young boys and girls. The 2018 Spring Series 2nd Place Champ, Anecya, led the team on the girl’s side, while new league boys (Andrew, Sean, Benny, and Payten) got their feet wet in the new sport. Alicia Concluded her 17 Day Track to producing Champions on November 11, 2017, where young men from the Champion Circle Program awaited to do a 45 minute “Mystery Activity.” They were surprised that they competed in a self-esteem booster known as an Archery Fitness Challenge where they officially became ARCHER ATHLETES!! They worked on many skills and excelled in their activity in a timely manner. They learned that in order to develop self-esteem they need to do something and accomplish something. They were all Champions to learn new skills and complete this challenge in only 45 minutes!!

Archery Fitness Challenge Self-Esteem Booster

Alicia Weber re-set her own world record in the 30 minutes of shoulder-width grip chin ups on November 7, 2017, when she did more than 500 (over 50 reps over her previous world record set back on August 10, 2012). She gains great self-esteem when she is able to set, re-set, and re-set her longer more arduous records.

Alicia Weber breaks another record with over 500 reps of proper form chin-ups in 30 minutes!

Alicia captured her 118th overall victory on November 4th, 2017, when she ran a 5k race on packed-sand to raise funds for pediatric cancer. She was over-joyed by the wonderful environment, friends, and new friendly people (and Sandhill Cranes) she met at the event. She had a runner’s high and self-esteem high that day!

Alicia’s 118th Victory!

October 26 – October 31

Nineteen of Alicia’s Archer Athletes would agree that success is achieved in self-esteem building activities. They all took the Qigong Halloween Archery Challenge. Three Teams qualified for the event and they finished in a Wicked Witch nail-biting close match as they took shots to ghost and pumpkin targets.

Top Shots from the Halloween Challenge

Finally, a Big Fan of many years challenged Alicia to an isometric shoulder exercise. Alicia took in the suggestion and created a new type of isometric strength and endurance challenge for Halloween 2017 involving holding two bows and doing lunges on a BOSU. The video reached 2,000+ views in just a few days and has become one of her most popular challenges for this year. Success comes from self-esteem and achievements, which makes people feel secure. Great Achievements make people popular!!!

Alicia’s Halloween Isometric Bow Arm Lunge BOSU Balance Challenge

Last but not least, in order to celebrate Halloween in style, World Record Weber Wonder Woman performed a new Feats of Strength Compilation. She had such a natural high from self-esteem that she had to do a little extra in her cape.

World Record Weber Captures Double Gold in Indoor Rowing Championship

Alicia Weber winning her first her gold medal in the 500m in the morning of February 13th. Then, she won her second gold gold medal in the the evening in the 2,000 meter.
Nearly 1,600 indoor rowers competed on the Concept 2 rowing machines at the 2016 33rd Annual Southern Sprints Indoor Rowing Championships/World Qualifier in Melbourne, Florida, on February 13. A rare breed of athletes are drawn to the sport for the thrills of intense speed and power.

There are two different weight classes, lightweight and heavyweight. The maximum weight for a lightweight male is 165 pounds. The max weight for lightweight females is 135 pounds.

I am a lightweight indoor rower. Heavyweight indoor rower from Central Florida, Jennifer Gillette, and I both won the college/open women 500 meter and 2,000 meter events for our weight class. We both performed the rare feat of becoming double gold medalists at these championships.

In the past five years, we have been the only two women in the world that have both been world ranked top 10 three times for our 500 meter race times.

At this championship, Gillette set the American record for the 19-29 age category for heavyweight women with her 500 meter time of 1:30.7. Both of us continue to get faster as we get older. I have competed in this championship for five years, and it has been my goal to win gold. I won many silver and bronze medals, but I was working toward the elusive gold.

Alicia Weber is a sponsored athlete and professional coach in many sports for all ages and ability levels.

It is a dream come true to become a double gold medalist with new personal best times of 1:45.8 for 500 meters and 8:09.4 for 2,000 meters. I became an indoor rower to continue to increase my VO2max, as rowing is considered to be one of the best exercises to increase aerobic capacity.

Gillette is in fighter pilot school at Sheppard AFB, Texas. Only two percent of Air Force fighter pilots are women. Rowing has been excellent conditioning for her to prepare for the G-Forces of flying F 16s.

Dedicated ninth grade rower Robert Delgado-Mendez competed in the 500m to get in shape for rowing on the water. He has competed in Clermont’s Regattas and loves them.

“Rowing is fun with a completely different crowd of people. In individual sports and team sports like soccer and football, you can mess up and still be successful. However, rowing on the water in an 8 boat has to have everyone perfectly in sync or it all goes bad. My coach says you are only as fast as your slowest rower,” explained Delgado-Mendez.

In the water, rowers with height and strength have an advantage. A lightweight rowing team might beat a heavyweight rowing team. A heavyweight team creates more drag in the water, which can slow them down. Strength will be necessary to overpower the drag and beat lightweights.

Indoor rowing on Concept 2 machines provides other challenges. A heavyweight rower will create more power from their weight and go faster. A short lightweight will need to produce power through their legs and arms to be able to beat a strong, tall lightweight who will have greater power through their long legs. In any event, indoor rowing provides excellent fitness benefits and strategic competitions.

Alicia Weber Trainee Ab Curl Up Progressions

By: Weber Way to Wellness Reporter

The Ab Curl Up is a famous test among trainees of Alicia Weber. The exercise tests abdominal strength and endurance and unlike the sit-up and other ab exercises, it is safe on the back. Even those with different conditions can normally perform the exercise well. Weber has set up many physical fitness challenges throughout the years and this has always ranked as the # 1 favorite.

Weber exclaimed, “Once my trainees hear about this ‘client record’ they all want it! The first woman who set it in 2007 had many challengers, but no one broke it until Dennis K. came along and then trainees started re-setting it left and right.”

There has been a story with each person who set this record. Each person had different motivations in wanting to break this record.

Here is the ‘client record’ for the Ab Curl Up Progression in the 1 – minute test for most correct reps:

2014 Bonnie Jean 106 reps
(This was her retirement record after working 32 years!)

2013 Lisa 105 reps
(She set this after only 6-weeks of fitness training!)

2012 Ron the Retiree 85 reps

2012 Bonnie Jean 83 Reps
(She set the World Record for women over age 60 in the most consecutive knee tucks this year!)

2011 Ron the Retiree 80 reps

2011 Bonnie Jean 79 reps

2011 Ron the Retiree 77 reps

2011 Bonnie Jean 73 reps

2011 Ron the Retiree 71 reps
(Retired Cop still pushing his limits!)

2011 Dennis K. 69 reps
(Alicia’s first trainee to break this record in 4 years! Record set in front of a crowd at The 13 Week Fitness Makeover!)

2007 Retired Female Cop 68 reps
(She is the only person male or female to complete Alicia’s hardest 5-areas of fitness challenge test and she had highest score!)

The ab curl up keeps the lower back on the ground at all times with the arms and hands held straight out. 2 pieces of tape are set on the ground. One where arms and hands are stretched out. Then, a second piece of tape is placed where the maximum reach is achieved, while keeping arms straight and low back on the ground.
