Alicia Weber, the barrier breaker coach and world record woman, entered her 10th World Championship and only cross-trained for it. She wanted to see how well she could do without specifically training for the SkiErg event. She did not touch a SKiErg till the event on 11/12/20. She was happy with her result – only 2 seconds off her PR (back when she did train for the SkiErg event in the previous year).

CLERMONT, FL July 9, 2020— Alicia Weber, World’s Most Prolific Female Record Holder, added her 19th Sport and 9th World Championship to her resume in Rare Fashion. Without ever practicing, Alicia entered the 2020 Bike Erg World Sprints (4k) Championship. She had to compete 4,000 meters on a Concept 2 Bike Erg (which she never used or even tried before)! She competed in the World Wide Virtual Championship at Opex South Lake.
“Part of the excitement in doing it was psychological. I went into it without practicing on it and I only had expectations based on previous road cycling races, mtn bike races, and triathlons. The curiosity of how the Bike ERG compared was a driving force,” exclaimed Weber.
Walking into this adventure got Weber’s adrenaline pumping and temperature upto 99.3 degrees. Once she settled onto the saddle, she figured out the rigmarole. She thought averaging 20mph would be a starting goal and realistic target (as a former pro triathlete she was able to average 20mph in the 40k and in time trial bike races she would average 21-22mph). NO WAY… After the first 1,000 meters, Weber realized the Bike ERG is a different acquired skill that would take a lot of practice. She then quickly reassessed her goals at the half-way point as her quads were burning (the main muscle group used is Quads, while her road/triathlon bike focused on hamstrings). She wanted to average 80-95 RPMs, but maintained 78 RPM at level 4. She finished her first ever Bike ERG experience 4,000 meter in 9:05.3 to be entered in the World Championship where she placed 86th Woman in World.
“I feel the Bike ERG is a wonderful aerobic and leg strengthening routine. It compliments road cycling and mountain biking, but works on other fitness. They say 1 mile of a mountain bike = 3 miles of road cycling, which I can believe, but the BIKE ERG is in a league of its own with the level of challenge it presents. I will be practicing it more,” mentioned Weber. – END OF REPORT…NOW ONTO STRENGTH FEATS.

Alert-Alert Get your army of white blood cells, antibodies, and lymph vessels ready to kill the greatest enemy of 2020 – Covid 19. Oh no, what if the lymphocytes are too low (B cells, T-cells, and Natural Killer cells and other immune cells)?? No Problem…BUILD your body and boost it NOW by doing the following things EVERYDAY to get your immune system in peak performance for a sneak attack!! It will come down to your immune system for your greatest chance of survival.
1.) VITAMIN C is needed daily with at least 75-90 milligrams a day. However, most studies show 500-2,000 milligrams a day are needed to achieve great results. Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables each day (focus on different colors red, green, yellow, orange to get phytonutrients to protect against free radicals).
Vitamin C boosts immune cells that can engulf harmful bacteria and particles. Studies have shown it can reduce lung inflammation in severe respiratory illnesses. High dose of IV Vitamin C have been administered for Covid 19 patients to improve lung function.
2.) DRINK WARM LEMON JUICE everyday. Squeeze one fresh organic lemon into a mug and add some warm water. Sniff the steam for one minute and then slowly drink the warm lemon drink with a straw to limit erosion of teeth enamel from citric acid. The warm lemon enzymes are more effective at killing and preventing the virus. This drink rehydrates and sweeps the virus away through the warmth as the virus neutralizes in warm liquids. James Lind “Father of Naval Medicine” discovered a cure for scurvy in 1747 – a lemon and 2 oranges a day were found to cure sailors of scurvy.
3.) EAT A KIWI FRUIT a day. The shocking news is that the little brown, fuzzy fruit contains two to three TIMES more Vitamin C than an orange!! As a prolific strength and endurance record setter, the kiwi fruit has been a source to my relentless vitality. I eat kiwi fruit to fight tiredness and fatigue and keep consistent energy. I have been eating the fuzzy kiwi, since a kid when I referred to it as a “baby gorilla egg.” You can also eat a kiwi faster than eating an orange, which makes it a quick pick-me-up.
4.) THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE is MEDICINE. Start with deep breathing in your nose for 10 seconds and then exhale out your mouth for 10 seconds and repeat 3 times in row to start your day and clear the airways . You want to successfully complete without coughing or discomfort. This prevents/shows no infection. Therapeutic exercise with Alicia Weber prevents injuries/health issues or can repair health problems by engaging mind and body with multiple muscles groups working in a slow-controlled manner to stretch and strengthen. Below are examples of therapeutic exercise.
5.) GET A minimum 7 – 8 Hours of SLEEP each Night. Getting proper, regular deep sleep repairs your body and strengthens your immune system in conjunction with eating a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, wild fish, grass fed beef, and eggs.
6.) REDUCE STRESS by taking up new activities in times of “stay-at-home and social distancing” orders. Studies at the Harvard Business School found that engaging in learning new things reduced stress more than relaxing and taking a break! Why not learn new things and make $$$!!?? Contact Alicia to learn about an exciting online job opportunity at Awinningway@gmail.com
7.) DO WEEKLY GROUNDING aka “Earthing.” I do this at least once weekly. Take 20 minutes in the sunlight for your daily dose of Vitamin D (immune system booster), while going barefoot in the grass. Spend time walking barefoot, standing barefoot, and doing exercises barefoot to not only strengthen 100 muscles in your feet, but to reduce inflammation and set the body in tune with earth’s natural electromagnetic frequency. Grounding counteracts the negative effects of man-made EMF from wireless devices and greatly strengthens the immune system.
8.) EAT A HEALTHY SNACK OF CASHEWS. A handful of cashews are full of zinc that can fight infections and heal wounds. Zinc is known to reduce the duration of a cold. Cashews are a good source of iron and copper as well, which increase red blood cells and give the body more energy (copper helps increase bone density and prevent fractures). Cashews contain proanthocyanidins, which are compounds that suppress cancer cell replication. The magnesium and potassium help with muscle contractions. Cashews are known to relieve migraines. I eat a handful several times a week.
9.) HEAL YOUR BODY WITH SOUND and BOOST IMMUNITY. Healing with sound dates back to ancient Greece when musical sounds attempted to cure mental disorders. It is believed that higher vibrating frequencies of sound repair damaged tissue within cells, while diseases, sickness, and depression vibrate at lower sound frequencies. Advocates of sound therapy claim they have been healed of mental illness, arthritis, cancer, and other diseases.
10.) DO NOT USE IBUPROFEN (aka Advil, Motrin, or Nurofen)!! Studies at Lancet Medical Journal and studies on covid 19 patients are showing that ibuprofen speeds the spread of the virus and inflames the lungs. Instead of playing with fire, we can get rid of headaches and body aches a natural way…get extra sleep (stop and take a nap), eat every 3-4 hours, and drink plenty of water (especially alkaline water, which has an increased pH and removes toxins out of body better). I drink alkaline water to remove excess toxins after intense workouts and to rid headaches. If these methods are still not working, you can use acupressure points to remove a headache (a video demo is here).
Tackle these 10 Steps and you are on your way to a healthier, happier tomorrow!!

2019 RECAP: The Red Rubies won their 6th Team Title in the Archery Fitness League out of 10 Championships. For the first time, a Groveland boy (From Growling Tigers Team) won the individual Championship title and led his team to their best team finish of second place out of 5 teams. Returning multi-champion, Raven, of Team Anime utilized Qigong to take a big lead and win after holding a 3-way tie with two other girls. The anticipation for the Spring 2020 Self Defense Archery season is very high after everyone aced the self defense and greatly improved their archery in the fall.
Alicia “World Record” Weber excelled in her sports. She added her 18th individual sport in 2019 and competed in her 8th World Championship in the 2019 World SkiErg Sprints (1,000 meter). She only trained for 6 weeks and had weekly massage to help recover and perform her best in minimal amount of time to learn a new skill. She met her time goal for her first ever 1k race and placed 167th in the world out of 748 women!!
Alicia weighing in at only 112 pounds competed in the skiErg where extra weight adding momentum can be a competitive advantage. Alicia focused on using proper form engaging her core and triceps properly and came through the 1,000 meters in 4:25.9 to place 167th out of 748 women in the world.
Alicia moved on to setting more challenging records this year. She was not setting records at the pace she was previously accustomed to (one record every 42 hours). LOL She slowed down her pace to focus on developing more challenging workout record categories termed “World Record Weber Record Breaking Workouts”… In these workouts she may need to break a current record and then add more new records within the workout. Her goal was to set one a month. She ended year with 14 new record breaking workout records. You can follow these workouts at the link below.
Members of Alicia’s Archery Fitness League can partake in many special opportunities throughout the year such as developing Improv Comedy, competing in different sports outside archery, working on their Art skills, attending group sporting events, and learning many other skill sets. CLERMONT, FL May-July 2019 Fifteen archer-athletes toed the line in the first-ever Obstacle Archery Series Championship (11 events). They knew there would be archery (in rare form though), but they were unsure of the other multi-faceted physical fitness events. Training sessions were available to prepare and improve. In the end, three teams (6 archer-athletes) finished the Series in Top-Form full of determination and interest in the new challenges. Cody (age 10) of Team Fire Bows won the 2019 Championship (2 points ahead of the runner-up, Nathan, a multiple archery champ).
This sport has a greater emphasis on physical fitness and sports, Cody’s forte. However, Cody has also been an archer, since age 4. The Series Victory did come down to a final archery score where Cody set a record with 18 points out of a possible 30 points. Cody has proven himself that he is now a Top Archer and All Around Athlete. Cody has competed in various archery competitions, since age four. He never won. In fact, he finished last in some events. World Record Weber’s favorite holiday is Halloween for the fun, creativity, and characters that come with it. This year she had 4 days of Halloween events, which included two Inaugural Championship competitions for youth athletes.
Double Endeavor Halloween Championship Weekend
On October 29th, World Record Weber hosted a Halloween Archery Contest, which tested new and veteran archer’s skills at Halloween targets (where a lot of pumpkin smashing took place). The contest was 10 times more challenging than shooting at regular targets, but after a lot of “warming up” all the archers excelled with flying black and orange colors.
A new team called Constellations prevailed on the female side to take individual first (Lanissa with 15pts) and second places (Jadyn with 11pts). Veteran 2 x champion archer, Indaya of the Camo Hunters, took third place with 7pts. On the male side, Robin Hood (Matteo) won with 28pts, brothers Alex and Nicholas tied for second place with 26 pts, and Henry from the legendary team called The Rubies secured third place with 17pts.
The adrenaline for Halloween competitions was just beginning to brew as some athletes returned the following day and new athletes poured in for the Inaugural Halloween Cross Country One Mile Championship.
World Record Wonder Woman challenged the excited youth runners to what must be one of the toughest one mile races in the state of Florida. Prior to this competition, Weber (who has competed all over the state and nation) ran the mile course twice in 6:19 each time. Her time is a little more than a minute slower than what she would do on flat grass. She warned the racers that this is very tough and times would be slower than normal. Acting as the pace setter aka Rabbit, the Wonder Woman got the runners off to a whip, roaring start where they huffed and puffed to an incredible triumph (where approx 1,000 meters was on 12 percent grade hills and the remaining 0.4 miles were rolling or flat).
New cross country runner, nine year old JP, took the victory in 7:56 followed by teammates Nicole in 8:54 and Eli in 9:23. They took 1-2-3 and represented the Mariners.
Cody who helped set a Global Running Day world record, took 4th place. Our male and female Halloween Archery Champions, Matteo and Lanissa, finished this challenging course and called this their first-ever running race as they crossed the line in 5th and 6th place.
“The harder the challenge, then the sweeter the victory,” said Matteo who had a terrific Halloween weekend.
“It feels amazing to win archery, but I like to challenge myself at events where they are difficult for me,” mentioned Matteo.
Lanissa agreed with Matteo. “It feels good to try this run because I never raced before. It was a great motivation to get me out there. It felt great to win in archery yesterday with the top competition,” said Lanissa.
All athletes agreed that they were happy that Coach Weber challenged them to this tough cross country course rather than give them an easy, flat race.
Now, these motivated young athletes will prepare for their next events as they remember and are inspired by the words from Matteo,
“The harder the challenge, the sweeter the victory.”
When it comes to running shoes, one size won’t fit all. It takes a shoe store with a wide selection and experts to decide which shoe is the best fit. When the right shoe is found, it’s like a diamond in the rough and a keeper.
Now, it’s about producing results to go with the winning running shoe. They last 400-500 miles before needing replaced. Effective training can extend the life of a running shoe and put the right spring in one’s stride to go for the long-haul in athletics.
Alicia Weber would know as she has worked under Olympic coaches as well as self-coached herself for 23 years where she has garnered world titles, national titles, All Americans, and course records in track, cross country, road and off-terrain running. Additionally, she has a health science background with degrees and specializations. She teaches her students to get in tune with their own body and get out their best performance.
Last year, all campers improved running efficiency by 5-11% in just one week. Campers were tested on day 1 and re-tested on the last day to rate the improvement. Although, most runners take the camp, team sport athletes also take the camp to improve. Let’s see what the athletes are saying about the camp:
“I’m ready for cross country. My favorite part of the camp was learning how to run and the proper arm swing. I dropped 3 minutes off my 5k from the new training this summer.†– Ashley Chase
“I feel confident now that I will have a great sport season. I enjoyed everything. The camp was a lot of fun. There were a lot of technical things to learn and I absorbed it very well.†– Emily Woodhouse
“Alicia is a natural at anything athletic. She can learn anything quickly and can become an expert in minimal effort! Running is her first sport, competing since childhood, and with the time she has spent training, finding the best combo that works, she is the best out there when it comes to training for speed, endurance, and strength.†– Adam Gardner
Injuries and improper training techniques cause the end to sport careers. It’s rare to find an athlete to be a top contender as a youth and continue into the 20’s, 30’s, and beyond. It’s easier to learn the correct formula for running success now by Alicia Weber, than to get hampered with an injury and call it quits. Learn a champion’s techniques and swiftly steer in the winning direction.
Summer Camps Cost $150/week & go 8am-10am Mon, Tues, Weds, & Friday.
Session A: June 8-12, Session B: June 22-26, Session C: July 13-17
