Most new archers look forward to their first bullseye as their mark of success and excitement in archery, but Alicia Weber’s Creative Archery Summer Camp goes above and beyond shooting for Bullseyes. Young campers did not know what to expect other than they would be doing archery. Some waited months for this camp to take place. One thing was certain, Alicia Weber’s Creative Archery was out-of-this-world with jammed-packed activities geared to getting young students to master skills quickly and successfully.
Student-Athletes in Alicia’s archery programs become great athletes and excellent students. They develop mental and physical skills and focus needed to achieve any goal they set their minds on achieving. In spring 2016, all the archer-athletes who won the spring championship were also on the Honor Roll. Excelling in athletics and academics are equally important and the Creative Archery Summer Camp allows students to gear up academically with the math, English, writing, reading, public speaking, health, art, and performing arts experiences all tossed into archery in this one week camp. This camp is a great refresher for students about to head back to school after their long summer break or holiday break.
Highlights from the 2016 Creative Archery Summer Camp are below. Contact Alicia for upcoming sport and academic camps at Awinningway@gmail.com
Dannuta Hyacinth and Ahmad Alenezi are two outstanding, well-rounded track athletes who were the lone representatives for their middle school track team. They took on the challenge to learn how to be focused and prepare for jumping, running, and middle distance events through effective, fun training techniques. They gained personal bests in all their events, a top 10 finish in their best events at the 2016 middle school Central Florida Championship, and a boost in self-confidence with a new found thrill in running.
With short notice, a track team was formed where I was the coach. The program was only 5 weeks in length. They only had one week of practice before the first meet. They competed in a total (3) meets ending in a very competitive championship on March 17, 2016. There were an average 20 competitors in each race.
On March 17, the 6th grader, Dannuta, took 10th in the long jump with a new personal best of 11 feet and 10.5 inches. Additionally, Dannuta took 16th with a new PR in 100m (15.47), and 11th in the 200m with a new PR (33.30). The 8th grader, Ahmad, took 10th in the 800m in a new personal best time of 2:58.23. He earned personal bests in all his other events at the second meet with 14.92 in the 100m, 31.33 in the 200m, and 13ft and 4 inches in the long jump.
They both learned how they can have a remarkable rate of improvement through high quality, low quantity workouts. Dannuta trained under my tutelage for only 9 hours over the course of 5 weeks. She improved her long jump by 6.7 percent, she improved her 200m time by 3.5 percent, and she improved her 100m time by 1.22 percent.
Ahmad trained under my tutelage for only 5 hours over the course of 5 weeks. He improved his best event, the 800m, by 2.1 percent.
Greatness is measured in quality. These athletes are looking forward to more great things with their new sport of track and field.

Jack LaLanne always said, “Fitness is King and Nutrition is Queen.” Alicia Weber will add, “When they don’t rule, expect a nation of downfall.”
On the contrary, Japan proves to be a nation where Fitness is King and Nutrition is Queen and they are a nation that reigns as the healthiest in the world. The 2011 Nation Master Statistics show Japan is the least obese nation, nation with least heart disease (as well as nation with least cancer and circulatory diseases), and they are #5 nation for longest life expectancy!
Japan is a country where reaching over 100 years old is common place (especially in Okinawa). Japan is a country where the people believe in taking care of themselves and that is their lifestyle. They are the largest consumers of fish in the world and of whole soy, seaweed, and green tea. They monitor serving sizes and they stop eating before they are full. They also eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Japan believes in aiming for a low stress life with daily exercises and some of their favorites include Aikido, Tabata Method, and Japanese Yoga.
Many Americans would rather not exercise and not eat right and just let the doctor take care of them. Well, that is not a smart choice as according to Commonwealth Fund, the U.S. ranks last among seven countries for effective healthcare. You will pay a lot of money and not get the results.
Dr. Chauncey Crandall, a renowned interventional cardiologist says, “YOU save yourself! Heart disease is unnecessary and what causes heart disease causes other degenerative diseases.”
It is proven that a diet high in anti-inflammatory foods along with regular daily exercise is your best weapon against disease and having a long, happy, healthy life. So why not do what is right to have a long, happy, healthy life? Do you lack motivation and direction? If so, you have come to the right place. This is home to Alicia “The Machine” Weber – holder of over 100 official exercise world records. Alicia is totally wild about exercise and Alicia has the education and experience to guide people in the right direction to reach health goals effectively and in the shortest amount of time.

Alicia says, “I am an American, but certainly not American in the way I eat and exercise. I do not eat fast food. I rarely drink soft drinks, only ginger ale on occasion. I am REALLY W-I-L-D about exercise and because I exercise so much, I can not eat foods that aren’t healthy or else I will become sick. Due to the intensity of my exercising, my body is only inviting of alkaline foods. There is NO such thing as splurging or eating bad as a reward for hard workouts.”
Alicia had 3 major big, long stamina goals for 2012 and she achieved ALL of them. 1.) She set the world record for the most total body exercise records in 7 days in a row (2 of the exercises had to be 1 hour in duration). 2.) She then set the world record for fastest time to set 50 total body exercise records. 3.) Finally, she set the world record for the fastest time to set 100 total body exercise world records (where at least 3 records had to be at least 1 hour in duration).
I ask Alicia if she should feel tired and Alicia answered, “No, I am not tired. The more I do the more energized I become and I couple all my physical efforts with healthy eating, so both together are a very empowering combo for my body.”
Alicia would like to empower YOU to a NEW YOU as she does this over and over with her own body and current trainees. Alicia will work with YOU on YOUR goals and maximize your potential. The following are the videos documenting her 3 official long stamina records.
Official RecordSetter World Record where Alicia set 22 exercise records in 7 days in a row (upto 1hr duration covering upper body, lower body, and core exercises for records) on August 10-16, 2012.
“You have to take care of your 640 muscles, and the number one thing is exercise. You can eat perfectly but if you don’t exercise, you cannot get by.” – Jack Lalanne
“You should do it against the clock. Say you are going to do 30 laps in 15 minutes. Then you try to do it each day a little faster. That is putting demands on the body, and that is how you build up. You keep up your energy instead of going downhill.” – Jack Lalanne
Official Recordsetter World Record where Alicia completes 100 exercise records the fastest covering upper body, lower body, and core exercises AND for each of the 3 areas, at least one record of 1hr duration must be set. It took 107 days from May 17, 2012 – August 31, 2012.
“How do you build up your bank account? By putting something in it everyday.Your health account is no different. What I do today, I am wearing tomorrow. If I put inferior foods in my body today, I’m going to be inferior tomorrow, it’s that simple.” – Jack Lalanne

After my pregnancies, I used a weight loss method that was very successful for me. Now, to my surprise, I see that it is a method more commonly used than I would have expected!
Upon awakening, I would have coffee with fat free cream. Then, I would “jump” on my rebounder, also known as a mini-trampoline. I would listen to music and usually jump for 15 to 20 minutes.
Here are the important points for this weight loss method:
1. Your body was in a “fast” during sleep. Now you are burning the food from the previous night.
2. You are speeding up your food metabolism which will continue into the day.
3. You are burning fat NOT carbohydrates. If you ate breakfast and then jumped or exercised aerobically, you would burn the carbohydrates from the breakfast. But since you are still in the fasting state, your body burns the fat. This fat-burning state is called ketosis.
After jumping I would be very careful with my meals. I would not eat until lunch time, and I would have balanced meals with low fat and low sugar. I would eat sensibly.I lost 30 pounds using this method.
If you don’t want to use a rebounder, you can do another aerobic exercise. An important point to remember is that exercising in the fasting state really increases fat-burning. CAUTION: Do not use this method if you are diabetic.
Conditioning is vital for risk-free exercise. If you want to jump, start with 5 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for 1 to 2 weeks. Then, after 2 weeks, increase to 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week for 1 to 2 weeks. Use this conditioning method, gradually increasing the exercising time. These days I jump for 30 minutes at a time, 3 to 5 days a week. Otherwise, I go to the gym and use an aerobic machine there. Whatever I do, I use the “fasting” until lunch. Of course, drinking water is vital during the exercise session.
I believe squats are the best overall leg strength building exercise for the legs. There are many types of squats, but today I briefly discuss balance squats and deep squats. Reap the rewards from squatting and one can get strength gains that correlate to better running, bicycling, and even stand up paddle boarding.
On March 29, 2012, I set the world record (for the 3rd time) for Most Deep Squats in 3 Minutes when I did 167 deep squats in three minutes. The magic “three minutes” I do because that isn’t too long and not too short to hold at a very high aerobic threshold and still test my endurance (It’s like the 800m run, which is in between a sprint and middle distance event). Deep squat training is responsible for increasing my power on my bike and it gave me the edge to be only triathlete that kept increasing speed over duration of challenging bike leg in my 2008 ITU Sprint U-30 National Championship Triathlon. Deep squats also help my endurance to compete in mountain running championships.
Just minutes after re-setting the deep squat world record on March 29, 2012, I then set the world record for the Most Swiss Ball Squats in One Minute, which are very difficult as they test balance. These are a relatively new exercise for me as I did my 1st try at swiss ball squats on Jan 15, 2011, and I was certainly NOT doing them in my usual strict form as you will see HERE. However, through perserverance I mastered the swiss ball! Swiss Ball Squatting has helped me become better at Stand Up Paddle Boarding where balance is key. * Both of these are Official World Records published and verified by RecordSetter, click links above to go to records or watch video below for record video.

The Norwegian word kraken means “giant squid” and “sea monster”. Imagine a sea monster weighing a ton, having tentacles 30 feet long, swallowing enough food in 1 GULP to last a year – This describes Architeuthis a type of giant squid! Legend or not – in reality there really does live a giant sea squid that can go into deadly battle with a sperm whale and WIN!!
Below is a “Monster Isometric Challenge” where Alicia Weber not only pushes herself in a tough monster of an isometric for a duration of 30 minutes, but she recites a poem called “The Kraken” at a grueling 29 minutes in! Alicia performs a monster of a challenge that requires both mental and physical toughness!
Would you like to test yourself in a low back challenge? The low back challenge or more specifically the “Prone Double Straight Leg Isometric Raise Test” can discover the strength (or weakness) of your back extensors and predict low back pain potential. Watch the video above to get the instructions for the test and watch as I take the test. Below are the main muscles that are tested in this low back challenge.
var _gaq = _gaq || [];
_gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-30201144-1']);

(function() {

Are you aware that in today’s world low back pain affects 70 – 80% of the population with at least one occurrence during their lifetime? The back extensor involved with trunk muscle endurance will “make it or break it.” These trunk muscles control posture and lumber spine forward bending. Studies show significant decrease in back extensor endurance and a decrease in abdominal muscular endurance in patients with low back pain.
Therefore, patients with low back pain need to be very careful when selecting exercises and performing core training as they can have a loss of muscle control from trunk muscle fatigue, which is a cause of low back pain.
[ad]
On the back side of things, exercising trunk muscle endurance and abdominal muscular endurance are important for preventing back pain. An example of this would be doing supine double straight leg isometric holds at 20 degrees and even doing Leg Lifts.
Alicia Weber, the Sit Up World Record Holder that is all about preventive health does an Extreme Ab Challenge….1500 Leg Lifts and 25 Minutes of Straight Leg Isometric Holds AND MORE (all consecutive)!!
